We do not want him visiting UK! Please keep him to yourselves, you are the Ines who have elected him, we do not want him here.

Anonymous wrote:Well they are certainly more pleasant than the French toward Americans. If you enjoy a laugh, the Brits tend to enjoy one as well.
Anonymous wrote:I'm British and I fully agree, most British people are rude, but not just that, they are generally xenophobic.
The difference is, they practice their rudeness freely because guns are illegal in the Uk and the worst that usually happens is someone is rude back or tries to punch them in the face.
Anonymous wrote:Why are they rude? Let me count the ways -
-They used to be a dominant world power. Now, not so much.
-Their country has now become pretty crappy overall.
-Their monarchy is now little more than tabloid fodder.
-What was the last industry they dominated? It's not the '60's any more.
- Watch any episode of House Hunters International. It is *usually* some Brit desperate to move out of there.
So sad...

If I were a competitive person from Britain I would feel trapped in a euro country where they throw impediments in front of trying to achieve your dreams. I would feel like I was missing out by not being an American citizen .

Anonymous wrote:Yes, it's a generalization but most definitely the British are known to be rude. Rude, judgmental, classist, really just snotty brats. The young and the old.
I think they are just insecure at heart. This is why they need to be judgmental, put on 'airs', act better than then next person. Their heritage and legacy is based on colonialism. Robbing, enslaving and stealing from other countries. Not much substance there.

And, yah, there were slaves in Britain pre anti slavery.
Somerset v Stewart decision in 1772 - a hundred years before the US abolished slavery:
The state of slavery is of such a nature that it is incapable of being introduced on any reasons, moral or political, but only by positive law, which preserves its force long after the reasons, occasions, and time itself from whence it was created, is erased from memory. It is so odious, that nothing can be suffered to support it, but positive law. Whatever inconveniences, therefore, may follow from the decision, I cannot say this case is allowed or approved by the law of England; and therefore the black must be discharged.
Slavery had never been authorised by statute in England and Wales, and Lord Mansfield's decision found it also unsupported in common law....

We were the first country to abolish slavery, never allowed slavery in the UK, and were instrumental in suppressing the slave trade.
