They have gone to school, graduated, gotten jobs, never committed crimes, etc.
Inner city and rural poor Americans can do those things too. If they live in Houston (then they wouldn't be rural though), then they can get freebies too.
They can't do these things without the freebies given to illegals and the children of illegals.
I guess I got a little lost. We're not talking about FEMA freebies in Houston? What freebies are associated with a HS degree and no criminal record?
The parents came here illegally and had children. Those kids got freebies from the states, at the very least, never mind what they stole in medical services. Money is finite. Give to one, take from another.
Uh, no. Not really.

I believe they're talking about all the freebies they got while growing up, like free education, free health care, free school lunches, ESOL if they needed it,that type of stuff. I read somewhere that the average cost per illegal per year of school is $14000 in my county, and a lot of them have three or four siblings. So, about $70,000 a year per illegal family, just for education.
Their parents do pay property tax through their rent or their mortgage and do pay income taxes if they have work permits, which many do. But I don't know, maybe that $70k figure includes all of that, since I don't know how it was calculated. Anyway, it doesn't matter, because whether their parents pay lots of taxes or $0, the kids are entitled to an education. The Supreme Court has said so, and there are very compelling policy reasons for it as well.

What more can be said? Illegals want FEMA money and if they have an anchor they get it. I look at that money as less for US citizens.
That's one way to look at it. Another way to look at it is those aren't good jobs, they won't pay well or give loyalty to their employees or treat them well. The young adult children of your friends should get better jobs than those.

Native born Americans are held to a lower style. They are allowed to commit crimes, don't have to finish school, and don't have to pay $500 every two years for the privilege of staying in the only country they have ever known. The dreamers are better quality overall. We need more of them.
