Unlike the ACLU which does defend the civil rights of all--whether you like them or not.

OP here and never said that the SPLC was trying to avoid taxes. What I did say was why does a non-profit need offshore accounts? Possibly to skirt Federal Law and hide it's sponsors?

Funny for people calling themselves "Poverty" something. What a joke!
The dude would be a partner at a top law firm easy, making millions.
They fooled you!
No one fooled me. Morris Dees is a hero. The American Bar Association awarded him the ABA Medal. Skadden Arps established an award in his name. On top of that he sold a successful publishing business in order to create SPLC.
You have been fooled by the people who fear the SPLC and want to tear it down. They spread any number of lies about SPLC, but those lies don't pan out. For example, this thread is completely untrue. They do not have millions in offshore banks. They have an investment portfolio that includes some hedge funds that are not based in the US. The two are in no way the same thing.
Why don't you clarify exactly what their total assets are?

So true.
SPLC has jumped the shark. Once upon a time, it did good work.
Exactly.
It still does good work.
If you are a lefty and looking to blame your own ineptness its good.
