As well as maintaining our home, planning travel, managing finances which includes a side business we run together, summer on nantucket, etc. etc.

I thought the trophy wife was there to look good in public, the mistress is there to look good at home.

The trophy wife is there to look good everywhere. Think about a trophy, you like to show it off but it doesn't talk. Guys that want trophy wives are insecure and superficial. They drive 300k sports cars to impress others. They want to be the smart ones and all they care about is that everyone notices how hot their wife is. It's to prove the guy wins at everything.

I disagree. I am an attractive, educated, middle class
class woman. I married an atractive, smart guy because I could. Does that make me shallow or insecure? Most peole would choose hot over mediocre looks.

Congrats but that doesn't make you a trophy wife.

Newsflash: you can look beautiful and have a husband that is proud to show you off and not be a trophy wife.
