This is what fat women tell themselves to feel better about their poor lifestyle choices. A fit woman does not, at all, look like an adolescent boy. But sure, keep devouring those twinkies while you blame everyone else for their lack of good taste.
I am really tired of this myth that classic paintings and statues depict a "healthier" type of woman, meaning fat. That's complete bullshit. Outside of Rubens, an outlier with his own personal issues, women on classical paintings are all conventionally trim. Classical Greek and Rodin statues are all of conventionally proportionate women. Go look. They are maybe one size larger than what would be considered ideal today, and they don't have chiseled muscles, but they are NOT fat. Your typical Greek woman in marble would be about 5'6'', smallish breasts, subtly rounded bellies, shapely legs, slender arms and shoulders. Enough with the bullshit.

The Ancient Greeks idealized figures. That's not what their average woman looked like. Their statues of male figures aren't what average Ancient Greek men looked like. But if DCUM men expect to use that as the standard, DCUM women should demand an Apollo in return.
Of course that's idealized, but don't you think this gives you an idea of what was considered ideal at the time? The point is that classical paintings and sculptures, with very few exceptions, idealize a trim, proportionate figure - which flies in face of the fat defense argument that "back in the day" fat was considered beautiful. I give you extreme thinness (of the podium kind) is rarely seen in classical art. Animate the Aphrodite statue I posted, dress her in today's clothes, and most men will think she's hot.

If I was a size 14, I would think any attraction to me likely comes from a very niche audience.
Sounds like you have low self esteem. If you have digits for yourself, how is that going to attract others regardless of size? Confidence goes a LONG way. I'd rather date or marry a confident with extra weight that a small sized women who loathes herself. In regards to size I think you'd be surprised.
Sometimes low self esteem is just common sense. I don't delude myself that I'm in good shape, at least. Masking it with "confidence" is being deliberately blind. I know how I look when I'm in a better shape, and how much I SHOULD weigh. Confidence should not be used to mask fat.
There is no such thing as attraction regardless of size. Smaller size gets more attraction. Stop making things up to pretend it isn't so.

It is well known that men in the modeling industry love models that don't have hips because they look like guys.
It is changing, but that look is not attractive to many men, obviously attractive to men attracted to men.... which is great for them. Own your own attractions.
I don't know what's your point, but here's a fact: most men are more attracted to woman that are fit. And most women are more attracted to men that are fit. If anybody wants to deny that, they are only fooling themselves. Most people will prioritize personality and chemistry, but that doesn't mean that, from a strict looks perspective, people are usually more attracted to fit people. As with everything, exceptions will exist.

Not average in higher end DC neighborhoods...
