I know you didn't just say that.
Blasphemy.

NP but I love this cover of Landslide. The original is one of my all time favorites. Most covers of Landslide that I've heard seem to honor the original, not much to improve upon I guess.

The best part of this remake is that Britta (Swedish for Birgitta) Phillips was the original voice for "Jem" back in the day https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Britta_Phillips

Yes. While Tori stopped writing good music by 2000, her covers are all great. Famous Blue Raincoat, Time, etc.

Joni Mitchell's cover of her own earlier work when she rerecorded "Both Sides Now" in 2000. Makes me cry every time.

"Sweet Jane" by the Cowboy Junkies (vs. Velvet Underground)
"Country Road Take Me Home" by Love Seed Mama Jump (vs. John Denver)
"Nothing Compares 2 U" by Chris Cornell is pretty great.
"Black" by Aaron Lewis (vs. Pearl Jam)
"killing me softly" by the Fugees (vs. Roberta Flack)
"Whiskey in the Jar" by Metallica (vs. Thin Lizzy/Dubliners, but I had to look up who sang the original)
"Love Roller Coaster" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers (vs. the Ohio Players)
I think "Boyz in the Hood" by Dynamite Hack (vs. Eazy-E) is pretty great too.

OMG, did you graduate from HS in '95? What a trip back in time.

Volkswagen has an ad out right now with Joan Jett's cover of "Love Is All Around," better known as the Mary Tyler Moore show theme song. It. Is. Awesome.
