However, it looks like it may be boring for my family. My family likes to travel and we already visited Hawaii, San Diego, London, and Paris this summer. Will a place like Martha's Vineyard appeal to us? I keep looking at pictures on Trip Advisor and reading reviews, but nothing sticks out for me or has that WOW factor. It seems like the activities are geared towards provincial types of families. If you have middle school age children, please tell me what types of activities or places do you visit while you are at there. Thanks!

I've been to the Atlantis in Dubai and it is not my scene but I can easily see why young children would have a great time and the parents are happy because the kids are happy.
Martha's Vineyard / Nantucket / Maine / Cape Cod is my natural fit. Older kids always have a great time swimming and in the ponds and cycling and taking the ferries and having local ice cream and seafood.
I wouldn't say no to an Atlantis vacation but it's not high on my list and I would always go for a northeastern summer trip over Atlantis in the summer, and there are other parts of the Bahamas and Caribbean I'd prefer for the winter months.
Last but not least, I am not judgmental. Go to the place that makes you happy.
