I can commiserate. I am in Ward 3 and had subsidized daycare through my husband's work.... until he switched jobs. We are Feds but still cannot get off the waitlists. Even though we have the "luxury" of two incomes, we may have to move to get the numbers to work out.

As others have said, DC is horrifically expensive; even at a HHI of 300k, we live in an unglamorous suburb.

Although I'm shocked at a 15% discount. I got 7% in MoCo. But good luck and I hope this works out o p!!
