Because who doesn't love a party so loud that it wakes up everybody's kids for a 5+ block radius? That refuses to turn down the music for 20 minutes after the police arrive? Those darn Chevy Chasers! Must be racist
Is this true? I've followed this story but didn't read about a 5+ block radius anywhere.

Wait, so this is an event for parents and their 125 kids? Holy crap. That's not a quick 20 minute photo outside. Certainly something this large should have gotten buy-in from the admin.
At this time of year there are a million other things going on during the day -- 5th graduation is two days away, there are probably staff meetings, library packing, other classes have their own events. The custodial staff may be overstretched etc.
How did these teachers not run this by the front office?
This is all on the teachers and parents who apparently didn't bother to let the principal know that they were planning a several-hundred-person event during school hours.
It was not several hundred,
classes were having them on different days in their classrooms or outside.
But there is a party for all the kindergarteners already planned, right? So why do they need YET ANOTHER party?

I'm liking this principal more and more.

But for the rest of us it feels shi--y to not be able to attend when other kids have parents there. Our kids don't understand why we have to work but other parents can make it to the 10 events this month.
Yes!!!!!
