I will enlighten you. DP. I am an avid Supernatural fan, and clearly your have to wear or have a tattoo of a certain symbol, plus it looks really hot on Sam and Dean, so that's a bonus. Then you must have a lot of salt on hand, and make sure that you are in the circle protected by salt. You know, ghosts can't cross a salt barrier, then you must have a lot of holly water on hand, added bonus, Dean looks hot when you throw water on him and he is all wet. Hence, before you know it Oujia board become a water fight, and since they are teens, best to be in bikinis and swimming shorts as who wants to get their clothes wet?

However, if there's anyone who is planning to use a board there are a few simple rules that you should follow in order to have a good experience.
1. Always use the board with at least one other person - never alone. 2. Always approach the board is a positive mood. 3. ALWAYS close each session by moving the planchette to 'Goodbye.' Never leave the portal open.

My teacher even commented once that she saw Satan in Stephen King's eyes. Supernatural is nothing more than a good TV show. Here in the real world, oujia board are right up there with superstitions and talking donkeys. After 18 years of brainwashing, I'm really quite over the idea of anything outside the tangible.
Wait... what?
Numbers 22:28
Synopsis: Balaam was avoiding God while he rode on his donkey. God gave the donkey a voice to speak to him.
