I didn't realize lamb was a Ward 4 school- please link me to where it says that in its charter paperwork!!


My point is that they own 2 buildings in Ward 4 -- and all LAMB 4th and 5th graders attend one of them, regardless of where they were for PK3-3rd. The SD facility is leased.

Read the supporting immersion thread. If you want your kid to thrive in both language you will likely need to support that outside of school. At a minimum with a Spanish language camp in the summer, ideally with regular additional opportunities for conversations in Spanish.

We are just pk3 but enrolled at Montessori. Priorities are language and Montessori. But also location seems important doesn't it?

LAMB family here. It makes sense that it is hard to understand if you aren't part of the community, but we are so very happy there and haven't considered leaving for one minute. Even with everything that has gone on this year (I won't choose to use the word "drama"). My children are learning so much in two languages, the community is so warm and close and the teachers are amazing. We still feel lucky every day that we won this lottery. Others may feel differently, but one family's view here.


Yes. And it is mostly only dramatic on DCUM.

I think that the new class was created because there were too many rising pk4 students. It was filled with existing pk4 and K students.


PP here. The class was also created before the lottery so the initial admits took that class into consideration.
