Only you know how important - or unimportant - that is to you.
I didn't realize lamb was a Ward 4 school- please link me to where it says that in its charter paperwork!!

I'm sincerely curious because we are enrolled at a neighborhood school that's been refreshingly straightforward and that we feel good about despite a less than stellar reputation, but we also have a good number on the LAMB waitlist.
Immersion is hard work and a real commitment. If you're lukewarm and happy at your current school, stay put.
Can you talk a bit more about this? We are a new family and are nervous about what we should be doing outside of school. Neither parent is a native speaker.
Nothing. You will be fine!

Go for it!
Thanks. Concerned with their possible move, since we live near SD campus and had prioritized proximity in our selections. This is harder than I thought!
Are you currently in a Montessori and/or language school? Is that your priority?
If not, stay put.

LAMB family here. It makes sense that it is hard to understand if you aren't part of the community, but we are so very happy there and haven't considered leaving for one minute. Even with everything that has gone on this year (I won't choose to use the word "drama"). My children are learning so much in two languages, the community is so warm and close and the teachers are amazing. We still feel lucky every day that we won this lottery. Others may feel differently, but one family's view here.

For initial admits I understand the disparate numbers but Im still perplexed by this round. Perhaps wishful thinking is clouding my perspective.
I think that the new class was created because there were too many rising pk4 students. It was filled with existing pk4 and K students.
