Zipper Merge.. know it, love it, learn it.

when traffic is backed up the zipper merge is the way to go.

Asshat drivers come in many forms.

At the green light...
person who fails to move after a second or two because they are texting or putting on makeup or dreaming...asshat.
person who honks the millisecond it turns green and gives no time for normal reaction, also an asshat.

On the highway...
person who blocks the left lane going slower than surrounding traffic...asshat.
person who tailgates everyone that is doing the same speed as surrounding traffic and weaves around, also an asshat.

People who use their phones while driving or drive intoxicated...kings and queens of the asshats.

It's really quite simple, pay attention while you are driving. Have a little patience and courtesy. Obey traffic rules. Done.

Then you are being an asshole. It's assholes that cause crashes and you will probably be part of the crash. Is it really worth it to put your own health in jeopardy just to prove a point? Move over and let the others pass in the left lane. That's what it's for. Forcing people to use other lanes to pass you only leads to dangerous situations.
