Why? So you can have a higher HHI? Not always worth it in my opinion.

No, you don't marry an alpha for the income but for the exciting sex.

Really? What happens if you are married to a guy with a high income and exciting sex. Because in my experience men eho makr more money are better in bed (as long as they are in shape). Its a confidence thing.

Men don't need high income to have high confidence. Some of the highest confidence in the world... is found in guys in PRISON making no money. Bikers, musicians = low income high confidence.

But if you've got a high income alpha, congrats, go you.

Bad news is that marriage makes any man, no matter how alpha, more beta over time.

You are nuts.

I had no idea being a biker was a profession. My DH rides a Harley, but its transportation. Are you talking some sort of taxicab biker?

Are you really this stupid? You know what a biker is. What the FBI calls an "outlaw motorcycle club", dumbass.

Yiu are a moron...and nuts.

no, in most of those marriages there are traditional wife and husband roles, very clear and he need not worry about anything on the homefront. everyone (even working wives) needs a wife!

"Alpha" = Vain, shallow, materialistic asshole who wants to claim that those qualities are somehow admirable.

I married an alpha who went on to cheat on me 2 times and emotionally abuse me. I am getting a divorce. I am now looking at those betas and hoping I might actually get to fall for another good person in my life. Had a good boyfriend or two in there. Hoping for at least one more.

I mean...do what you want, but definitely not my type.

Well, somebody's having sex with these guys. At the end of the day, more women are having sex with the jocks than with the nerds.

Are you still in high school? How are you certain of this statement?

My husband must be the exception. He makes a lot of money, is confident and always striving for more. But he seems to dislike sex (at least with me) and isn't very good at it.

Of couse we all have different traits. My DH is driven and successful, still plays organized competitive sports, and is definitely a mans man. However he does laundry as well, shares equally in raising the kids, isn't threatened by my high income, never turns me doen when i want a backrub, and always asks my opinion when he hits an obstacle in his way in his career, despite having an extremely successful career in sales.

He can be vulnerable and he csn be tough and it's extremely sexy.

Beta.

If that's a beta sign me up! Athletic AND makes a ton of money AND is a good dad? It would be pound town at my house all night long.

Men, be like the above beta if you want your balls drained on the regular.
