Subject: What does your husband do to take care of you?
- does bath and bedtime every night
- responds to nearly all middle of the night calls from DS - (need water, bad dream, etc)
- helps 50/50 with household chores and cooking and takes full responsibility for trash/recycling, mowing lawn, changing filters/batteries, anything tech related
For me personally
- brings me coffee in bed every weekend morning
- runs errands for my mom who can't drive - picks up prescriptions, groceries once in a while, etc.
- generally handles tasks he knows I don't like to do like take my car in for service and most importantly dropping return packages to UPS, post office, etc which happens pretty frequently

Like WHAT??? I've been married 18years and never have had to be protected. I grew up on a farm and my daddy taught me how to use a gun as soon as i could walk, but it was more for hunting and in all these years I've mever needed protection as an adult. If i did, I'm a good shot amd its not me who will need protecting.
Why would i want a wife? My DH gives me all I need and the least of that is protection or money. We both work as a financial TEAM. and yes, he nurtures me. He's damn good at it too. I'm a poster up thread. Too much to mention. I'm treated like a spolied princess. No woman will do the stuff he does for me, nor will a woman have a dick, which is the way i like to get done. Big swinging dick+ nurturing= hot.
He should be going down to check the noises in the middle of the night. He should protect you from rodents or spiders or stray cats or whatever creature it is that you do not like. He should protect you from dead animals in the yard. He should protect you from creeps on the street. He should protect you from cars on the street, big crowds, from drinking too much when you are out at a bar.
That sort of stuff.

I'm the primary breadwinner. Beyond bedtime we split all of the childcare. We split housekeeping.
The most amazing thing: he stood by me through terrible tragedy. He and I both had to wrestle our way through it. But we made it.

We both are equal earners and I would say he does more housework but I do more childcare so we are about even there. I feel like he divides things 50/50 with me but I don't really feel like he takes care of me. We live in the DMV area now, but I grew up in NJ where you don't pump your own gas. I just realized that he does always fill up my car with gas (because I don't want to), so that's something.
