FFS - your kid is 5. Look for a good all around school and forget the STEM aspect. STEM is the buzz-acronym of this generation and truly means nothing. As a PHD engineer, very little of what is promoted in STEM programs relate to what is practiced in the real world. Your child will succeed in STEM related fields If she can communicate well, is well rounded and doesn't refer to it as STEM.

If I were to move for a public school, I would opt to size down and buy into the Whitman or BCC school districts in Maryland. Geographically you would be in a location that is fairly central should you opt for private and if not, I know those school districts have a large percentage of highly educated and active parent groups. I'm not familiar with other systems so that comment is not at all meant to be a comparison.

Blair booster appears to pretend to be posting for TJ and posts messages that seems to attack Blair to make TJ look bad.
