Maybe you can read the article from WP about how author found it easy to cheer for Tom Brady, but now he can't. Reach out to him to judge other people. Dude, I'm not melting. I am hardened. I'm actually trying to figure out a way to make this not uncomfortable for our other neighbors (even though, *gasp*, some of them also supported Trump, I can still have a conversation with them because I know they thought they were doing the right thing and aren't authoritarians or white supremacists). We were pretty tight knit, and I don't want to ruin it for everyone.
If you are such a radical, then just isolate yourself from all of your neighbors until you can act like a grown up.
