The only thing I would personally know of had I not been watching the news would be 90 day The federal hiring freeze and that's hardly the end of the world.

Generally a good thing, and definitely one of the reasons I married him. He, however, doesn't seem to care or worry about or even really acknowledge that Trump's policies are detrimental to this country. He's a very caring guy towards me, but doesn't seem to care about people beyond myself and his family and close friends. It's really really disappointing to see this. I have actually found myself less attracted to him lately. Any advice on how to get over this? We just got married last year.
Are you able to articulate how they are detrimental? A lot of liberals seems very emotional right now but unable to discuss what changes have been made or what exactly has happened that they have a problem with. Of course there is the ban on people from seven countries but how is that detrimental to this country? It can only hurt America to let these people in.
Agree 100%. Also, there were Obama policies that conservatives feel were detrimental to this county, yet you didn't see conservatives being disrespectful to the president or whining as if the world was going to come to and end. Rather we made the best of it, continued to love our country and voted when it was time. I find it shocking how liberals are offended that there is at least half the population that disagrees with them on things like border security and abortion. News flash, your view is not the only view and not the current majority.
This is an outright lie. Some conservatives spent the past eight years whining, making threats, trashing Obama, criticizing Michelle, and judging his children. It's silly to pretend that you all threw your hands up in defeat and meekly waited for Obama's term to end.
Yeah but this is a new level of hysteria that was not seen after Obama got elected. I mean people are apoplectic and I would wager that for 95% of them life will change very little under Trump.

Good luck in life.

Actually, short of SCOTUS, Republicans did throw their hands up in defeat for 8 years. That's why we have Obamacare and the Iran deal and dozens of crappy policies. No one protested, no one burned anything.

Only if the husband is a moron and a bigot.
