I was recently with a man ten years younger than me -- 6 ft with a six pack - and he said my body was phenonemnal. I am in my 40s. It was amazing to hear, but I do not need a man to tell I am sexy for self validation. I will wear a bikini until I am 80, and I will use my sex appeal as a granny to pick up a man in his wheelchair.

Very puzzled by this as well. Don't get at all.

I actually swim and don't want to be bothered by slipping bra straps or the feeling that the bottoms could find their way loose. If you don't do much more than some mild paddling around, I suppose neither of those would be a concern if you were wearing a two piece.
What does this mean? You swim laps? Your bathing suit bottom should never fall off. That would be odd. I "swim" with my three kids in a bikini - they've never seen me in a one piece unless I'm swimming laps.
Swim laps and body surf. For the latter especially the risk of losing a bikini bottom is not small.

Both are comfortable if they fit. Women don't just have swimsuit shopping phobia because they hate themselves, many are only aggravated because it's hard to find suits that fit or flatter. There's a lot of variation in torso length even with the same height and dress size, cut the suit in half and more women can wear it. Then there's the mix and match of tops and bottoms, more possibilities.
