Subject: Parent's Pervy Friend
I have a question for this poster:

I have a husband with a mental disorder he refuses to treat, and I cannot be made responsible for his actions (don't worry, it's not sexual! He has severe ADHD and is chronically late for everything, misses important deadlines and has anger issues. I can't physically force a pill in his mouth, or drag him to a therapist, you see what I mean?)."
My mom can't pay attention to my kids when my dad visits because he is so needy and competes for her attention. Do you think it's appropriate for me to ask her to visit without him? They visit 2-3 times a year for 2-3 days.

I know this is an old thread but sharing this jic it might be helpful to others.
There has to be some way to embed some small needles, or something sharp, in areas he should not be touching. When he sticks/cuts himself it's a perfect opportunity to search the 'offended' area thus outing him. If for some reason he restrains his reaction under the pain/surprise you still have your revenge and him thinking twice before doing it again.

OP - this is where I'd ask my DH to be my wingman for the evening. Yes, you should be be strong and tough enough on your own to deal with this guy but if not get your DH involved. My DH has the remarkable ability to put the fear of God in people while speaking very quietly. Have your DH stay by your side and if that idiot does anything let your DH have a little chat with him. I know this is a sexist comment but this is what husbands are for.
