I was in a very long term relationship through my teens and early 20s. My number would have been a lot higher otherwise.

I can't remember the exact number, but probably around 20-25. Slept with most before I married my 1st husband at age 27. Married my second at age 40 and only slept with 2 men between husbands.

Less than 10, married at 27. I'm comfortable with my level of experience and pretty satisfied sexually.

100+. Lost count after a while.Lost my virginity at 13, and was just...lost for so many years. I cringe at 97% of the men I slept with looking back.

Met DH at 27, now 37. Married 5 years. You would never know this about me. Never had an STD, praise God. I'm blessed that way. Also feel cursed...I've all but lost total interest in sex. Partly because we have an extremely demanding 4 y/o, no time, energy, etc. A tiny part of me believes it's because I'm all "used up" and "sexed out."

I don't know my actual number but prior to meeting my significant other it was somewhere around 10. Met my significant other at age 22. I'm now in my 40s. SO was not my last, though. My number is a little higher now (due to many circumstances), but I hope it never gets higher than it is now.

I'm an only one person (haven't posted yet). I met my husband a month before I turned 19. I'm so embarrassed to admit that to almost anyone. It wasn't for religious reasons, and I'm very liberal socially, but sometimes it just happens that you meet the one very early in life.

Can't imagine it's happening much with millennials. Probably less in gen x too.

Generation xer here I know quite a few people my age who met their spouses in their late teens, however they also slept with a number of people in high school as well. I've actually always felt that people my age were bigger partiers (sex and drugs wise) than the millennials who were raised in a more supervised environment.

Huh. I'm reading this as a millennial who has had 27 partners and is considered the prude of my friend group. Thats why I posited that it might be a generational thing, because the "I've only slept with one guy that I met during high school"- I literally don't know a single person (in my age group) who that applies to. Not one.

Same here, and I'm 37. But that said, most women that I'm close friends with have had 10 or fewer partners. Actually, the majority have had 5 or fewer.
