If your cousin needs support, the Trevor Project offers free text/chat/and phone crisis services for LGBT or questioning youth. Family rejection is something the folks at Trevor Project would be very familiar with. They may also be a resource for you to help you figure out how best to offer your cousin support now as the legal and custody issues are sorted out.

Op - you are hearing one side of this story and that is coming from a very emotional teen. You are judging a mom for flipping out and not using polite language. You are considering "legal options", possibly calling CPS.
If CPS was called every time a parent cussed out their teenager you would never be able to get through to them.
I think this kid (and her mother) need a weekend away from each other. Emotions are running high right now. Let them simmer down a bit and then maybe they can try to sort things out with each other.
Did you read the whole thread? The parents are threatening her and disowning her, neither of which are rational reactions.
I thought I had but just now realized that I missed the Op's update describing how the father said he would "knock some sense into her" and how both parents strongly stated that they didn't want a gay daughter in their house.
Yep, that's a mess. You can't send a kid back into an environment like that. It's good that Op's other family members are stepping in to help sort this all out. Poor kid.
