Turns out I wasn't bleeding after birth much more than a period - I asked my DH to get my pjs for me. I'm curious how many people mention showers. I bleed a lot during birth so maybe that's some of it, but I was really lightheaded for my whole hospital stay - I didn't feel well enough to attend the entire class pre hospital discharge and laid back down. I never tried showering at the hospital (48 hours) because I felt too lightheaded.
That sucks. I showered a couple hours afterwards, and each of the two mornings.
Me too. I had a long labor but I was up and about and showered and didn't bleed much after so I was in my own yoga pants and showered a couple times at the hospital. I though about depends but didn't need them in the end. Getting up to pee and use the sitz bath often enough that I just changed the pads.

Same.
