DH is a primary care Dr. 3 "long" days a week (8-6) and two short days. We don't make a ton of money but enough for me to stay home and take care of our family and have babies. I love it and am proud of him.

Pp with carpenter DH. Lol when it comes to these guys, their own house is the last to get any work done. He does a pretty good job of cleaning himself before coming home. No one wants dust everywhere.

DH is a partner at a law firm. He loves the interesting work but hates the politics. Occasionally he has an interesting/fascinating/eye opening story to share, but mostly what I hear is grumbles about office politics and having to babysit grownups.

Overall it's a great gig. He is highly skilled and educated and puts it to good use.

My DH is a math professor. I love it because mathematicians, unlike most other professors, don't have labs to maintain, and so he can work from anywhere and I get to join him often at conferences in interesting locations.

The downsides are that money could be better and that the subject of academic department politics gets really boring really fast. But all in all it's pretty sweet.

Marine. Very proud of him. I hate the deployments but that's what he signed up for at 18 and I signed up for at 22 when we married.

No regrets after 22 years. Hoping for 50 more.

I also have a career.
