I majored in humanities however, I wouldn't want my children. As long as I'm helping them pay for school, they will major in something that will set them on the path to a high earning career.

2nd major in Business instead of Film (useless) just to be taken more seriously.

I'm still happy I was an English major. I work in tech and use my skills to "translate" for all the software engineers who can't communicate outside of code (aka marketing).

Finance. A friend was finance, not even an MBA, and ended up with a large bank in NYC. Her bonuses, and she was under 30, were half a million dollars. I went to med and I owe hundreds of thousands of dollars.

First of all, law isn't a college major. Second, despite that, someone did in fact mention they would have gone to law school.

Lots of children these days have speech delays and articulation issues, plus SLP also work with kids with executive function challenges.

Hospitals - helping stroke victims relearn how to swallow, talk etc.

Ha ha! PP here. Yep, I got my finance MBA a few years later

I really enjoy school for the sake of learning so I went on for a Phd in finance. Now I'm bored and looking to go back to school. Engineering has always fascinated me so I'm going to start a civil engineer course path. It's just for me but I suppose if I see it through it could become a second career. But acct/finance had been good to me.
