Oh there is sweet revenge in this one. I was in that situation dated white guy for years. Parents pissed, family in general pissed. I eventually baled on the relationship cause it was pointless. He got married almost immediately after we broke up. Years later run into him, I was looking fabulous had just finish running a marathon so was thin and fit, he was with his wife of many years. Turns out she had no clue about his "black" girlfriend from the past. He tried real hard not to tell her who I was. When I realized what was going on I pipped in and said "I am his old girlfriend, we lived together for 5yrs". She was pissed beyond the telling. We were at a restaurant and I just smiled and turned around and went back to my table. The left the restaurant about 2 seconds later. Revenge is a dish best served cold



This happened to my sister. She is still gorgeous and met the ex out with his very blond teen son and haggard looking wife. Considering my sister was essentially stood up at the altar, I think she showed great restraint when she only announced to his wife and son that she lived with him for months. She held back on saying anything about his confession about prior heavy drug use. Her ex and his wife are devout Christians. She said his wife looked like she would puke and the son looked scared, as he should've been. Life happens.

Its definitely a myth. Go to Los Angeles for a couple of weeks and you will learn that the most tiger mommies, the most articulate lawyers, the most powerful businesswomen and the most prestigious surgeons - all Asian women.I lived there for over half a decade and I can tell you. There is nothing passive about Asian women.

My white DH will be the first to tell you that Korean women are not passive -- he is married to one. I'm guessing you have never been married to a Korean woman. I only know one passive Korean woman, and that's because this is just her nature.


Korean guy here - Korean women are not passive. They are (well, most K women) may come across as quiet and passive, they are anything but.

This. All of the people I know who are Asian that had issues, it was the Koreans who broke it off, usually because of their parents. I know a Korean boy who broke up with his high school sweetheart after 6 years of dating because his mother told him he could never marry a Chinese girl. I know a Korean girl who broke up with her boyfriend because he was Jewish and family said they'd disown her. Another Korean girl with an AA man, her parents threatened to cut her off. Etc.

I'm Korean, married a white man. My parents threatened me, too. I went ahead and did what I wanted. 15 yrs later, they adore their grandchildren.

Why do you assume she doesn't know? And I'll say the racism probably goes both ways. Koreans are very proud of their culture and heritage and older generation generally prefer their kids to marry other Koreans. There's a good chance she's only dating him for fun too because it is likely that she will be facing a lot of opposition from her family if marriage is a possibility. Mind your own business and stop passing judgments on other people's relationships.

My roommate in college was white and she dated primarily AA jock types but never had one as a long term boyfriend. Her long term BF's were always white and she ended up marrying a white guy. I asked her about it one time and she said that she dates whoever she was attracted to.

My Jewish DH actually said he knew he would not marry a Jewish woman because he found them all unattractive. He loves his mother and she is a pretty woman so I never understood it but feel lucky he married me. He is a wonderful husband and father.

That's a personal thing, attraction is attraction. You either have it or you don't. There's some races I wouldn't be attracted to anyone, you know what you like and that's ok.
