??? so he's basically only watching like 1/4 of the show?? I mean there are at least 3 episodes that are entirely violent, gory battles...Don't understand this or the person watching Breaking Bad, which was emotionally really tough for me to watch when I was a 26 year old!

I think super-safe shows to watch are American Ninja Warrior and the cooking contest shows (my personal favorite is the Great British Baking Show but kids might find that boring). Also loved Parks and Rec and am watching Brooklyn Nine Nine, I'd say these are maybe 12 and up because there are occasional non-graphic references to sex.

Or Woody Allen movies

... or any of Bill Clinton's old speeches.... where he "did not have...............with that woman....."

Seeing Hillary also makes me vomit a little, too.

Everybody Hates Chris and Malcolm in the Middle. I think I cry laughing at almost every episode. Wonder Years is great too.

There was a show called American Dreams that was really good but it was canceled after a few seasons. I loved watching that with my Mom when my youngest was a baby because she used to dance on Bandstand. Have to show that one to my now 15yr old daughter.

I think Lost would be fun to go back and revisit with ages 12 and over.
