I don't, but my 10 year old does. I'll be sure to join him next time. I'm not sure if the gag is from the smoke or how ugly you look with smoke pouring out of your wrinkled face.
eh, he is going to come across as a whiny, histrionic drama queen. Going out of your way to walk into smoke clouds and "react" is lame. I'm not telling you how to raise your kid and I don't particularly like cigarette smoke (it stinks) but if the smoker is outside it is really not that hard to walk away from them and their smoke cloud.
Signed - a former smoker who really can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke either.
Believe me, he wouldn't walk into it, he runs away from it. Thank god it's not very often since most people are smart enough not to smoke. Last time my son got stuck walking behind a smoker he vomited from the smell, so it really is a problem, and no way would he walk into it on purpose.
Why did he get stuck walking behind a smoker? If you were in line you should have politely asked the person to please put out the cigarette as smoke makes your child ill. If he was just walking behind a smoker in a crowd of people, you all should have moved away from the smoker. As annoying as cigarette smoke might be, vomit is absolutely disgusting. No one wants to step in vomit.
Yes, because we can see how well the smokers would respond to that. They have rights you know! Nobody tells them to put their cigarettes out!

Plenty of smokers who would put their cigarettes out or find another place to smoke if someone politely asked them to do so..I've actually seen it happen multiple times. .

Cigarette smoke is more than a nuisance for a lot of us. In my experience, smokers are some of the most selfish people that I've ever met. Thank God most people don't smoke anymore (at least around here).
Kind of like entitled dog owners!
Nope sorry. My dog isn't giving you cancer or harming you in any way. He doesn't even smell bad.
If you don't think that your dog's poop stinks you are delusional.
Most dog owners pick up & properly dispose of the poop. Can't say the same about smokers who toss cigarette butts all over the place.

So you're going to encourage your child's obnoxious behavior? Stellar parenting.
To annoy and shame smokers? I'm ok with that
Perhaps you should look in the mirror the next time you feel the need to shame someone.
Like you're trying to do to me right now?![]()

DH and I laughed and laughed about that one. We think the smokers are the #1 worst part of traveling overseas to Europe, Asia, Africa, you name it. You can't escape the nasty smoke.
