It was a made up story. A few angry men on this site, can't get a decent woman. Most 50 year old guys aren't even having sex with women their age, it's tough for both sexes 50 and over.

I met my DH when he was 41. He was in a 6 year relationship with an abusive woman during his 30s and needed a bit of time to recover and get his self esteem back after breaking up with her. Nothing wrong with him all. Great DH and dad.

I knew 2 guys like this. Both had personality problems, both not bad for 50. Both were very lonely, and wanted a companion but younger. When they dated the younger ones, it was a money thing and they didn't like that either. The ones their own age they weren't attracted to.

No kids, grand kids holidays probably the pits. I can see down the road health problems and no partner to help them.

+1. I have a colleague like this, but pushing 40. He dates a few women a year, but feels no desire to commit. As long as he can easily find someone willing to have sex with him, he is happy and feels no need for a deep relationship.
