However if that great board would have continued the same rediculous restrictions that they put on the prior tech team, they wouldnt have to talk that new TD into reinstating programs. The hoops they made them jump thru were rediculous! How it was so successful speaks volumes for them bc that board did not make it easy! Had the board not tried to fix what wasnt broken, if they had not tried so hard to set them up for failure ( which it seems backfired).... then their karma wouldnt have had to take over and a pretty good number of our kids wouldnt be paying the price for their egos. Even if they felt a legit. need to restructure, good Lord, dont you think it would have been beneficial to establish a common philosophy and gameplan prior to our club paying for this individual to come from a different country?! They WASTED alot of OUR $$$ to pay for this ineffective individual. And speaking of wasting money, that prez that you made point that wasnt the "prez of the week" she should be reimbursing our club the 10,000 she threw away with that NSCAA report that she tried so hard to manipulate. That was a disgrace! and when she couldnt, she and that handful of egos chose to pick and choosed the recommendations that fell in line with their agenda. And while we are on margaret, why is she even on the board? At large or otherwise. She has no children in the club. Others were kick out bc they no longer had kids in the club. Had they been in line with this group, they would have most likely been welcomed. If I am wrong regarding any of this, please prove me wrong. Otherwise, start being on the up and up! our most important thing in life is our children, these unethical, juvenile individuals need to grow up and step down... but most important, they owe ALOT of people an apology. Yes I am angry. Many of us are!

Sounded like VYS tried to keep all of his coaches. Again, great job BOD! Way to bring our great club down. VYS has turned into an emarrassment.
VYSA Assistant Technical Director's son. But you know that already, don't you?

From what you read here, you'd think they have to beg players to fill four travel teams per in the younger age groups, and you'd think the House program no longer has hundreds upon hundreds of kids playing. So far, none of that has happened. The board needs to take control back from the TD. Maybe they can't buy him out, but they can at least minimize the damage.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! NO! The last thing we need is that BOD getting ANY MORE CONTROL! This disaster CAN NOT be blamed solely on the current TD. They made the decisions that have put us in this boat to include dismissing a productive, successful TD to hire this guy. They can point the finger at him or the old tech team if they like... but when the chips are down, its THEM! I think its sad that not only have they destroyed the club but they are blaming everyone but their grandmother for it. And Im waiting for them to cry its her fault next!
VYS board's focus on registration numbers and fielding four teams not right. Once a travel kid leaves for another club, VYS just pulls up another kid from house or outside area to replace, which often results in weaker travel teams and diluted house league. You can always find someone. But that doesn't mean you are doing a good job just because you can replace all the departing players and still make money. Better metric is how many soccer kids raised in Vienna are leaving VYS travel program mid-season or trying out at other clubs for next fall, etc. The focus of any debate should be on the impact to the kids in the Vienna community, not to VYS the corporation.

HUGE RED FLAG!!!!!!!!!! If we had a board with kids who actually play travel here, they might care enough to listen to members of the community and actually do something!!!!!
