What are the schools comparable to Haverford in terms of reputation?

Wow! I did some research on Lutnick, and he (and his money) is truly dedicated to Haverford. Haverford's kind gesture of giving Lutnick a four 'year' scholarship to stay at the school when his parents died says volumes to me about Haverford's compassion and sense of community.

Talk about paying it forward! Lutnick ended up donating $65 million to Haverford and sits on one of its boards. After much research, my DC has Haverford on her list of schools and really likes it though I think it's too small. However, having a better sense of its community and students who attend (no school is a utopia), I would have no problem I'd DC attends regardless of size.

There are lots of excellent schools that many people have never heard of. If money is not an issue, there's no reason not to include Haverford in your list.

Not the PP but there seems to be a pattern of late of taking innocent remarks in a discussion forum as a reason to provoke arguments. The other poster only said his/her observation about a particular school. If you'very been around the college forum long enough, we all agree it's about fit.

I guess it would be a good move if people would think about how they present their responses before they write.
