Did this finally sell? It is no longer on the market but there is no record of its sale.

It was long sell but many properties at that price point are. I would be shocked it went for less.

It would be a very good deal for the buyer at $1.25 million.

This 5 BR, built-in-1989 house, with a bigger lot, went under contract right away this month with an asking price of $1.349 million. Whatever final price it settles for is probably the ceiling purchase price for the OP house that has been the focus of this thread, unless of course bidders ignore this potential comp.

Oh, makes sense.. there's always a catch.

^^ That's a classic sales move and is the absolute minimum you'd pay for that new, yet-to-be built house. They then upsell everything. You dont want plywood floors? Oh, well that'll cost you extra.

Not to veer off topic, but if you had 1.5 million to buy into this neighborhood, wouldn't the below new construction be preferable?

I don't know anything about Paramount Construction, but also wonder why this has been sitting on the market for so long, and a brand new house seems more appealing than a 10 year old one.

The ceiling on 1st floor in the house seems only 8 ft tall. Compare to the newer houses 9ft ceiling, the price has to be adjusted. It is a very nice house and needs someone special to see its value. Years ago, i saw a house with very unique wall paper in my neighborhood and was wondering why the owner didnt remove it before putting the house on market. Two month later, i met a woman the a school function who told me she just moved into the neighborhood. I made a comment about the house with special wall paper and was told she bought the house bc she loved the wallpaper! Anything can happen. Be patient.
