They quit and find a less enriching job, for less hours.
I absolutely blame liberals, women who think they can physically match men and attack men at all times, for all their (mens) supposed failings.
Men are men and women women. Deal with it, crazy bitches.
Now men are being neutered, and our society is being turned into wimps and babies and tumblr complainers- any women want to be plumbers and work from 6 am to 11 pm with one 15 minute break to scarf a gross 7-11 hot dog and piss on the go? Then get an emergency call @ 230 am and roll out of bed and go? OF COURSE NOT!
Oh no. Equality works in air conditioned offices with HR reps hovering.
Equality doesnt exist when the shitter is full, and it's 102 heat index, and you have to crawl under a house.
Real world ding ding ding.
Here's a little labor market research reality for you, before you continue on this ridiculous spiral of incorrect causal hypotheses.
"Shortage of Construction Workers
When plumbers and electricians realized that they may have no work for many years ahead of them, they moved to different professions or retired. Even worse, new people stopped joining the trades. Plumbing apprenticeships hold little appeal when there is no work, so the pipeline of new plumbers dried up resulting in a shortage of new plumbing apprentices. Obviously, over time, this causes a shortage of experienced plumbers.
Research studies of the United States construction labor market have confirmed that this has occurred. There is a growing plumber shortage and a shortage of construction workers in general. The headwind to the housing recovery, therefore, is that as the American housing market rejuvenates, there will not be enough skilled, experienced workers to satisfy the renewed demand for their services."

it is just as wrong when women put down men as it is when men put down women.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:There isn't a threat to masculinity - the threat is an economic one, where when women reach parity or surpass men economically, they don't treat men the same way men treat women.
What i mean by this is look at the 'underemployed bf - wwyd' thread.
That and other threads on 'providers' and data showing most women dislike outperforming their partners socio-economically is what is driving this disconnect.
There are way less threads about 'underemployed gf - wwyd' and others similar.
As women gain more and more in the labor market and thereby capture greater pieces of the economic pie with respect to men compared to their mothers and grandmothers, society has to change the dynamic of what is 'expected' from both genders.
Why men feel like their masculinity has taken a hit is because as they lose out relatively to women compared to their fathers/grandfathers, there hasn't been a similar shift in attitudes regarding breadwinners/providers.
I agree with this. Society will have to become more accepting of SAHDs. Women may have to accept they may not be able to be a SAHM. All of the educated women I know make just as much as their husbands and in some cases they make more.
...because women are smarter

Just because you're a plumber and good at it, does not make you an expert on macroeconomic theory.
Huge diff between being a great plumber and running a profitable company that employs plumbers.
As usual, internet information, dry stats, quotes on the economy from ivory tower types, etc, do not equal real world business.
I would say that running a company makes a person pretty intelligent on certain aspects of economics, including hiring employees for said bizness.

This is why so many men gravitate towards marrying latinas so they enjoy a modicum of respect of the household.

That epithet don't make no sense, 'bro." Everyone needs a plumber. You going to discriminate against your clients? Or just your employees? PS: Progressives (what you might atavistically be referring to as "hippies") are looking out for the well-being of your small business. You're welcome.
