Aidan just added a new Spanish camp in July for 2-4 year olds Their other camp for 2-4 year olds goes only through June.

Thanks for the Beauvoir tips PP - we live in the area so I was wondering about it.

Totally agree! NPS Summer Horizons is the best-organized and staffed camp from the ones we've tried. Everyone is so friendly and engaging of the kids. Lots of fun arts and crafts, cool guest speakers and field trips, and the swimming is fantastic.

Check out Pulse Camps at http://pulsecamps.com/ They included lunch and swim. My son had the best time and i saw a real improvement in his soccer skills.

My kids went to Camp Kibbutz at the National Synagogue and loved it! It worked out to about $200/week/child for a full-time camp (with extended hour options) and they did it all -- field trips, swimming, games.

My kids have also gone to the various Camp Gan Israels (run by Chabad) in the area -- and they've all been very well done. It's a little pricier, but they do two high-end field trips per week (boat rides, 6 flags, hershey park, etc).

My kids went at the French Academy summer camp and they loved it! Qualified teachers and lots of outdoor time.
It is a great camp because the kids learn French in a funny way.

The Fencers Club in Falls Church has 4 spots left in their afternoon beginner fencing camp. It is for kids 8 -14, from 1 - 4. The coaches are really great; they enjoy working with kids.

My kids love DC United soccer camps. There are various locations, but they have done the ones at RFK Stadium.

Fit Kids hit the Stage in Columbia Heights is awesome. They have a new location and just recently open their registration. I think the age range is still the same... ages 3-7 (children must be potty trained though)

Little Folks camp in Georgetown!

They have art, cooking, access to a pool, creative water play, themed weeks, sports, and a moon bounce. So much more. My kids absolutely loved the Little Folks camp in Georgetown last year:

With a morning only and full day option, and this year they are incorporating a community service aspect in which the camp is partnering with a low income elderly community in Foggy Bottom.

Mostly pre school age kids but it is a wonderful camp in a great DC location with awesome staff!

Yes, I was very underwhelmed and felt I paid a lot for nothing special. They also had a daily 90 minute nap which was way too long for my 4 year old.
