Also, some of the signs were taken down earlier in the year and numerous teachers parking on 36th have gotten tickets over the past few months.

To be clear, though, it was only changed because the school had to put trailers on the hard top that took up most of the parking space already there. I don't think that is viewed as a permanent solutionf for teacher parking, but I may be wrong.

But the problem is that there is overcrowding at most the the JKLM elementary schools (and then Deal and Wilson), even the recently renovated ones - so that isn't a Murch issue. I understand the concern about the "uncertainty" of the renovation, given that we are the last in the JKLM schools to start renovations - but I suspect (but don't know for certain) there was parent "input" (and complaints) about the original proposed designs for each of the other school renovations so am hoping parent concerns were listened to and will be addressed in the next iteration and
