Yeah right. Not enough viagra in the world to make that happen.
20 year olds regard 30 year old women as gross and untouchable. 40 year olds, forgetaboutit.

Really? When I'm 35? LOL. Keep dreaming, buddy.

No one I know. literally, no one I know is dating one.
I think there was a girl who was overweight from high school, dropped out of college, and she might be dating one, from FB. but that's the only one I can think of.
PP's claim seems to insinuate that 10 year age gaps are as rare as a size 0 who is going thru menopause. I show her data that 20% of re-marriages are men to women 10 years younger. Clearly this phenomena is not the Haley's comet scenario that PP describes.
Your data is based on second marriages, which is still a low percentage of the population. Of that group, only 20% marry 10 years or more younger. This includes 55yo men dating 44yo women. 65yo men marrying 52 year old women. Age gaps that are less severe. Men who survived their spouses and marry for companionship. It doesn't mean that most are 40yo guys with "hot" 27yos.

Why can't some men age gracefully?
Agreed. And I am 25.
When older men hit on me and my friends, it's like a joke. Seriously, you actually think any young woman would want to play with your saggy balls?
And what's wrong with older dudes that they cant be with women their age? IMO, it's usually the sign of (several) maturity issues and/or a desire to overcompensate/show off to other men, which seems to be, in my opinion, verging on homosexual behavior. (when you are dating a person for the purpose of impressing other dudes)
As gross as you find it, might want to talk to your 25 year old chicas who are more than happy to pick up the slack. Plenty of 25-30 year old supply for 40 year old men.

Maybe you watch too much porn.

The attraction is simple biology, birds and the bees, etc. Women can have babies only when young, while men can have babies at any age.
Women are attracted to money. Men's earnings peak later in life while women's looks peak in late 20s. Men age like wine while women age like milk. What's so hard to understand about this?

Except I'm talking about data from research, not pornos.
"One in five men who remarry wed a woman at least 10 years their junior, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of Census data. By contrast, only one in 20 men on their first marriage pair up with someone that young."

Look, you very lonely young men who can't pull women your age who are 10s at the club, because you have no game and no $$ to spend on bottle service, you need to be more realistic. Date women who will actually date you, instead of posting on DCUM in the hopes that when you are 40, you will marry a 20-year-old Kate Upton look-alike.

Definitely the minority, to say the least.
And certainly not the common event you seem to want to make it out to be!
1/5 married someone 10 years or younger! That's a freaking decade. A huge age gap. I'd still call 5 years a big age gap. And the plurality def are marrying younger. At least a few years younger.
But you realize- that's the minority right?! Do you understand how majority/minority works?
PP you said the event was rare. Yes 20% is not a majority of cases. But it's far more than this "I've only heard of 1 in my whole life" scenario you painted. When you add in 5 year age gaps, that means it's a plurality. You painted a false picture.
