OP, is the cop you refer to in the thread actually your ex BF and have you posted about him before? And he moved away and had a new GF but still talked to you every night? Or something like that?
Op here: haha yup! That was my ex that I was with for almost 6 years. He's actually engaged to that girl now and we are still friends. He's also not calling me multiple times a day behind her back anymore so that all worked itself out.
Your abusive ex boyfriend is the cop who you asked for help in checking out your current interest?
Are you serious?
OP, why do you keep these toxic people in your life?

OP here: Why would that be? I know plenty of people from here that vacation in the Vineyard. My family has had a house in Edgartown since I was in 9th grade and before that, we always just rented a house on the isand. What you are saying makes no sense at all.
OP is definitely a troll (although I held out hope for a long time)- someone who regularly vacations on Martha's Vineyard would not refer to it as "in the Vineyard."
Op here: oh SO SORRY that I accidentally wrote "in" instead of "on". I have never in my life said "I'm going to be on Martha's Vineyard for the week in July!" I have always said "I'm going to be on The Vineyard....".
Its too late no one believes you. I'm a British person living in California and even I found your reference to IN the vineyard suspect. Go away now, find a nice hobby, talk to a real human and enjoy your life.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:given your background, what led you to nanny in DC a while back?
Op here: I've been a nanny from the time I was 17-25 and then started my own business so moved on from being a career nanny. I actually was placed with a government family through a agency I worked with at the time and that family flew me out to VA, spent a weekend with them and they hired me. I worked for them for a year and ended up moving back to RI because I was very homesick.
