I think she was just referring to the hateful comments (not directly aimed at Shepherd).

When people were painting their lottery choices, Shepherd was on a lot of people's list. Even though this thread went left, I don't think anyone "hated" on the school and I'm happy about that.

Still reading, but have almost given up posting. Lots of posts now turn really ugly fast. Also, so many obviously fake posts that you can see the holes in from a mile. Also, seems like the same type of questions get posted "ad infinitum".

I know. It's kind of sad that this Shepherd post turned so ugly so fast because Shepherd rarely gets discussed here. It's not the same as a JKLMS thread turning ugly because they get a dozen threads a day. It was mainly positive, even regarding race/diversity. Then 1-2 people had to go there.
