Would love to have even more engaged, involved families interested in joining us at Shepherd. I guess we'll find out later this week!
Who on this thread said that they hate Shepherd? Don't be so sensitive just because someone asks about demographics and people comment on that.

The school is rarely mentioned (except when talking about boundaries) and I was really pleased to see such a positive thread about the school. It really does seem like a great school and we will likely pull our kid from his HRCS to join Shepherd. We are struggling with this thought as he has made really good school friends in the last 2 years at his current school.
So I am really asking as nice as possible if we can let the race arguments stop for love of poor Shepherd that never gets love on DCUM![]()
Does anyone know the number of classes per grade (specifically K+)?
Seems that every single thread on DCUM as of late, turns into some race argument. I keep wondering if people are starting to troll.
OP's initial question was about race. Of course that doesn't excuse any nastiness that may have come in (from both sides, frankly).
What sides are there? Black vs white or JKLM vs anyone?
Or, people who take responsibility vs those who prefer to blame others

George Orwell would be impressed to see how we have bastardized the "diverse" word.
