Those are some ugly-ass shoes.

Truth is the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences were pissed at Beyoncé because she surprised the entire music industry by releasing her latest self-titled album only on iTunes first with no warning, no other promotion, no launch parties, no advance radio play, none of the traditional pre-sale retail hype -- she turned the industry upside down in a sense and showed how a true star can break the industry glass ceiling and they didn't like it. Period. Beck didn't deserve that award.
Finally, someone with some sense on this thread. Doesn't matter if you like Beyonce or Kanye. What matters is that the album was groundbreaking. Before she did it, it had never been done. And she did it phenomenally. The Grammys would never reward that sort of thing...would encourage other artists and musicians to get from under the thumb of the immoral music industry.
BTW, music is all about taste levels. I think Beck sucks. And even HE was surprised he won. What kind of sucky ass musician doesn't think enough about his own music that he's surprised he won?!

Very possibly, but a large part of it is ego. He is wealthy enough to afford therapy and meds. This is the second time he's rudely walked on stage. He shouldn't be allowed at the Grammy's any more. He needs a time out.
He was joking. He was laughing in the moment. So were folks in the audience. It sounds like you folks on this thread need to lighten up, not Kanye.
You must not have seen his interview after the show with E! He wasn’t joking.

That's not the point. In that moment, he was joking. Even though he felt that way, he was not pissed but rather wanted to jokingly cause a scene. Seriously, you folks are entirely humorless.

He sounds awful WITH auto-tune too! The low life thug has no talent.
Anonymous wrote:They really should ban this asshole from future awards ceremonies-sad that he will likely face no consequences for his stupid behavior. I hope he pulls this kind of shit on a fellow black dude like 50 cent and gets his ass kicked on stage-now that would be worth watching!

Adidas on Monday announced Kanye West's sneaker - the YEEZY BOOST, which West debuted on-stage at the 2015 Grammy's in Los Angeles Sunday - would go on sale Feb. 14 in New York.
The shoe will be available only in New York as the release is timed to coincide with Fashion Week and NBA All-Star Game.
West provided a burst of advance publicity Sunday night for the sneaker release when, during his performance of 'Only One' at the 57th Grammy's, he wore the YEEZY BOOST on stage. He also wore a pair Saturday when he arrived at the Roc Nation Pre-Grammy Brunch at the RocNation Offices in Beverly Hills, Calif.

It's amusing that you think your opinion is definitive. But it doesn't matter. The people with the most votes win the Grammy. B didn't win. Beck did. That's pretty much it. K shouldnt be robbing young artists their time to shine.
My bad, I forgot the IMO...wadn't trying to say my thoughts on the matter was the preeminent position.
