. On the other hand, the very few times he has cooked, it takes him like 2 hours to make what I would make in 20 minutes (he is not a good multitasked, he would be the first to admit). So, he gets up earlier and gets breakfast for the kids, often lunch, and he does many, many of the 9 pm grocery runs because we are never organized enough for peapod and somehow we can't really shop for everything on the weekend--something always runs out, and he's willing to go to safeway at 9 pm whereas I am not. He gave me coupons for Xmas that I could cash in for a night off washing dishes. I am unable to cash in those coupons because even with the coupon that HE gifted to me, he doesnt follow through.

Well he'd load the machine in the morning before leaving for work, all I did was turn it on. That changed recently when I realized I was washing clothes that had no detergent in it.I couldn't figure out why the clothes didn't smell fresh so one day I asked if he was putting detergent in and he said no, I thought you would do that. I took his hand and brought him in the laundry room where I lifted the washer lid to show him the cartoon pictures. He didn't know detergent went in first. I don't think he ever noticed the lid instructions.
Now that we got the pods and Gain scent boosters, the clothes smell nice and clean. I love him though. He tries very hard to help me. Next week we'll work on fixing the bed vs. making the bed.![]()
