I completely agree- I used to get very nicely made clothes from Ann Taylor and don't even bother looking there anymore. ATL isn't bad= not looking for long term wear out of them- I just buy a few trendy items for a season or two.

Has anyone shopped at AT lately? Their latest collection looks like a big improvement online, but haven't seen anything in person.

I would be willing to accept matronly if the fabrics felt wonderful. The current fabrics are repellent and charmless plastics. This is why im thinking my latest round of ordering from ann taylor will be what finally sends me into the soft jersey embrace of eileen fisher.

I find that the fit is frumpy on me. Looks like it has potential but the fit is always a disappointment. Ann Taylor proper is even more matronly.
