No one is saying she's a bimbo. She's clearly very intelligent and accomplished in her profession. In addition, she probably has superior social skills that helped her advance to the top of her profession. She deserves every legal accolade she gets. The only thing I object to is the halo that comes with a wholly undeserved "human rights lawyer" cliche.

You're buying into her PR stories. She is a human rights lawyer in the sense that she practices human rights law. That does not automatically mean that she practices it on the side of the victim. Alamuddin was a legal advisor to Al-Khalifa royal family of Bahrain, who oppress their population and practice torture freely. You can look up the Bahraini revolution if you need more details. She is currently defending a former Libyan chief of intelligence who is rumored to have supervised torture and executions galore. So stop with the human rights business. There is nothing wrong with the kind of law she practices but that doesn't make her a hero. DC is full of lawyers who service foreign thugs but none of them are married to GC. You can go admire them if you wish.
Thanks, I did not know that. I have a Bahraini friend and am familiar with the strife there. Still, Amal is no bimbo.

Not me. Brad seems to be completely in love with Ange. And he was always a serial monogamist, even if it ended badly with Jenn. Compare and contrast to Leo and George, who cant seem to keep their dicks from falling into whatever 20 something walks past. We will see how long this lasts.

Oh please! We can look at the amounts of time Brad spent in relationships and it is way longer than Brad. He also spoke about wanting to have a family, whereas for a long time George kept reiterating that he never wanted to get married. George's relationships were a year long and always with some no name bimbo type. To me, it does not seem like he really respects or values women. Lets hope, for Amal's sake, that has changed. We shall see.

Woman of Middle-Eastern descent are often incredibly beautiful while very young, but when they get older their appearance becomes coarser, they get facial hair etc. Wealthy women who can afford constant maintenance keep their looks longer.

You're being dumb. There is nothing even remotely Islamic in her family. None of the women in her family cover. If they were religious even a little bit, they'd never let their daughter marry a non-Muslim, let alone get photographed in her outfits. From what I am able to observe from the distance, none of them are practicing Muslims.
Her mother does work for Al-Hayat, which is owned by the Saudi royal family. But that doesn't make her extremist.
