This idiot decided to go for a 10 hour road trip about a month after he got his DL. He also was too cheap to take proper lessons, and barely passed the test.
Just like your H, he hit a tree on the way back, about 4 hours away. We are still paying some medical bills (luckily most was covered by his insurance and his company covered some), 5k went down the drain, he got a new car we could not really afford and he rear ended someone very soon after, so our insurance rates are now triple what we used to pay for my car, a very modest Toyota.
And this jerk used to tell me how much I spend on driving school and how much I spent on the car.
So oh yes I feel ya!!!
Do you have problems with reading comprehension? Th daughter not her father crashed the car.

Ah, troll, you've overplayed your hand now.

Anonymous wrote:OP, you just contradicted everything you said about being poor growing up and hating to spend money. Go away stupid troll.

You say you grew up poor but are you now? Pull yourself together. Your daughter feels bad/guilty enough, she doesn't need you and her Dad fighting over this!
I Have sent hI'm several links for new cars, all of which he says are too expensive. He is so f**king cheap. Just wants to buy what he calls "safe, affordable transportation." He says he can get new sedan like a VW Jetta that is rated well for safety for about $16K and that is what he wants to spend. I showed him a listing for a used GLK for $22K and he says: he doesn't want an SUV, he doesn't want a Mercedes and he doesn'T want to spend more than $20K and that the GLK is not safety rated for a teen driver by the IIHS.
He is like his parents! Cheap they drove crappy American or Japanese cars.
Also, his Mom wrote me back saying I should have compassion for him, but I never get it from him or from his parents.
