Wow. So much hate for cilantro. Huh.

I love cilantro, but I detest Anise. Tastes like licorice, which I think is revolting.

Because it doesn't taste like soap to most of us, it tastes fresh and delicious.

not a spice, but ginger. It smells ok, and it's not gross, but it doesn't taste like "food" to me, it's too fragrant, it's like trying to eat flowers or something.

I love all of these. I spice my food pretty heavily and I'm not sure I've ever met a spice or herb I don't like! I can even deal with asafetida, a pungent Indian spice.

Maybe epazote. I tried that once in beans, fresh, and didn't care for it. But I think I used it improperly so it doesn't count.


I like all spices too, including asafetida. However I hate fish, seafood, cream sauces and most cheeses.
