Thanks to this boards's preference for normal names coupled with my own raging hormones..we went with a solid traditional name. (Think William or Henry) I really wanted to go with something a bit spunkier (Think Leo or Max) and almost a year later, still regret not using the name I wanted. Our son would have fit that name perfectly.
So, please let this be a lesson to others. Choose the name you want and don't allow others to sway your decisions. I'm still feeling bad about our decision and wonder if I always will

This is a board full of unhappy women who don't have a healthy outlet with their SO's so they come here to ruin the lives of others with their uninformed, ignorant biased opinions. I just read this board to make myself feel good about myself and the people in my life who actually matter.
Ah, I see. Like how nobody goes to that restaurant anymore because it's too crowded. YOU are Ms. Normal, everyone ELSE here is unhappy and unhealthy.
Precisely!!! As illustrated by your response my dear.
Have you heard of the fundamental attribution error? You are really doing a bang-up demonstration of how it works.

As someone who knows what it's like to post in the middle of the night as a hormonal first time pregnant lady (and now a sleep deprived FTM) I welcomed her candor and words of wisdom/experience.

By the way, I would never listen to these nitwits on here regarding baby names. Usually it's some European name that's acceptable and that's boring. Most of them are pregnant with nothing better to do than trash names.
