However, your posts have nothing to do with this thread. Which means you are stupid people who do not bother to read the threads you post on, or you're trolls who just want to make every pet thread about your imagined issues.
Either way, you are not useful here and you are dismissed.
Zip your foolish mouth.
+1
OP here. Well said, thank you!
Why do people chime in for hateful purposes? Are their lives so awful? Apparently, yes.
Thanks to all of the dog people. We have it under control, and have all of the evidence we need. This guy will not be waving any more weapons at anything or anyone; or antagonizing the wrong people and/or dogs. Ever.

OMG did you KILL HIM, OP?

If the dog is on the dog's own property, contained by a fence (no holes, no possible egresses whatsoever - though it seems some PPs are looking for some where there are none); and/or electric fence, or whatever full and sufficient containment exists; then the man should NOT be walking by any animal OR person (again, on their own property, NOT HIS) - waving any weapon. He may also be doing this to small children.
You can't just go up to people and animals, as if it were a zoo, and antagonize with a weapon, or anything else. If this man has mental problems, he should seek help.
Expect the wronged neighbors to make it right. And not arbitrarily so, but by evidence and law. Go ahead, pretend not to understand or otherwise deflect - it will not make it so.
So do you taunt them with a stick?

You are correct! Dogs whose property does NOT have an electric fence, who illegally crosses onto another dogs' (or any) property - will cross an electric fence.
What is your point? You hate dogs? People? Yourself?
I rescue/rehabilitate abused dogs and had one mauled when a dog the owner left their dog out thinking the electric fence would contain it. I was even on the opposite side of the street. Since it was the fourth time the owner had allowed this dog to run at larges (and my dog required 17 stitches) their dog was put down.
Bad owners make bad dogs. You could come to my property line waving an 80 foot stick, playing heavy metal and twerking, he will just stare you down, until I tell him otherwise. I have trained them to stay 5 feet from the fence but that's just because at the end of the day dogs are animals and kids do reach their hands through fences.
OP here. There are flags (at least 50 - if you were blind and did "not see them", you would certainly trip on them) on the periphery of our property (at least 50), and Invisible Fence signs prominently displayed. Though any behaviors you mention would be amusing, they won't be doing it on my property any time soon.
Which reminds me - a neighbors dog, came over to our house to play with our dog (our dog has the electric fence, remember). The neighbors dog inflicted wounds that required stitches. Should I sue my neighbor, or be reasonable about this?Maybe I should go over to the edge of the neighbors property and shake a huge tree branch at them. Yeah, that should do it.

Dogs can, and do occasionally run through their own electric fence.
Dogs have been known to go-thru an electric fence.
