OP here. thank you. I hope your situation changes soon too. Never lose faith, stay positive, chin up. I know it is easier said than done. Not out of the woods, but planning on digging out of this as fast as we can.

DH profession is in transportation.

The online work I do is for a legit company located in Mclean doing internet research for them. Pays well but they cut our hours back until the end of the year.

OP here, i will take ownership of part of the debt, however the majority of debt I have is from my first marriage to a man who thought nothing of extending credit to buy anything and everything he wanted whether we could afford it. When the marriage ended, suddenly the debt didnt belong to him, according to him. Including a home equity loan that was taken out against the house. I often wish I was the one who walked away from the house and let HIM have it all....debt and everything because I certainly wouldnt be in this situation where i am now. I resent what he did to me but there isnt much I can do now.

I came back so I can give an update to this:

My husband finally got a call back from one of the applications he put in and the entire process from beginning to end to get this job was almost 2 months. It was tedious, frustrating but we got through it and he began his new job (PAID training) today!! he is ecstatic, as I am. As for me, I am continuing with the online position I have had for 2 years AND i have several new children in my daycare and a few other promising clients. It is going to take time to dig us out of this hole we fell into but I remain positive and hopeful.

OP...I really feel bad for you, but it sounds like you are seriously in need of some financial literacy. You have a long history of loans on top of loans and borrowing what you cannot pay back and all topped off with a bankruptcy filing. You and your husbands past and present frankly sound a hot mess.

So maybe the house is not meant to be. Accept it and move on

Are you on the old town moms listserve? It seems that there are constantly people looking for in home daycares on the list serve.

There are 2 or 3 "need babysitter' for afterschool kid jobs being advertised on that list right now...

I have been answering any ads I can find as well as posting my info out there as well as inquiring about other opportunities out there.

Are you kidding at you have been in this situation for a while and yet you lack a basic resume? I hope your DH has one.

I have never had the need for a resume because I was working at home and was never looking outside of my home for work until now. And yes my DH has one.
