Physical hotness is very subjective and we have, IMO, become almost inured to physical attractiveness because our entertainment is so filled with preposterously attractive people.

So for someone to REALLY sweep the public off their feet, as Ryan Gosling has in fact done, it is not just the body or the face, he is exceptionally charming and manages to come off as a nonproblematic feminist but ALSO masculine and manly. It's quite the trick!

This is the je ne sais qois that some people have that just makes people feel drawn to them. Hollywood is filled with people who are physically attractive but who seem to lack this (I would put Jaime Dornan in this category, he's hot but I have literally no other impression of him whatsoever. Brad Pitt used to have it but his luster has ebbed after his personal issues have continued). And then there are others that just seem to have it. Matt Damon, Ryan Reynolds, Dev Patel, Idris Elba, and the lasting elders who have this like Harrison Ford. The Rock kind of has it but has made himself kind of plastic and is kind of a caricature so doesn't have that kind of raw s@x appeal.

Anyway, hotness in and of itself doesn't set anyone apart in Hollywood now that everyone kind of looks like variations of the standard hot stereotype. It is something about one's essence.

JT, for the record, does NOT have this. His personality actively brings his hotness down.

He looks a bit odd now with the fillers. So does his Eva

This. If he was a regular dumb oaf I wouldn't look twice at him. He also does have a hot bod, and if men are allowed to pick butterfaces without judgment then women should be allowed too.

OP, who would you consider good looking. That might help your post make more sense.

I think it's both his looks, but also his vibe. He never seems like he is trying to hard, as in: Like me or not, no problem.

I have never thought JT was good looking at all.

I've seen comparison of Ryan to a young Brad Pitt.
