Yes - make this as miserable as possible for your DH and his family. You do need to ban together with the sisters in law in order to have this effective.

Let this be the way you stand up for yourself - have DH and your IL's deal with the whiny kids. Make them super uncomfortable the whole time.

Can you do that at least?

Part of me would relish this chance to make this as miserable as possible for the ringleaders of this madness! Let's see how happy Grandma and Grandpa are after they have whiny kids and disgruntled adults underfoot (literally) for days.
