Back in the real world, it's more like once a month, maybe twice? Nothing's as good as our vacation place, so it's kind of a let down for the grownups (admittedly, our kids wouldn't care and would probably love ice cream daily!).

Italian ice: 1x a week, walk 1/2 a mile there and 1/2 a mile back
-Vacation: all bets are off

Well, thanks, but I'm that poster and I'm not sad for them. They eat ice cream from the ice cream truck about 1x every other week. We have a constant supply of ice cream and popsicles in the fridge. We have cookies or brownies on hand most of the time. They have a big basket of all kinds of candies (b-day party favors, salt water taffy from the beach, etc.) I mean, come on people. Just because we don't go OUT to eat ice cream doesn't mean they don't get anything good. I just can't really deal with schlepping the three of them to Sweet Frog to spend $20 3-5x per week.
