Big Sur and the majestic cliffs in Thailand

As a whole, I would have to go with Hawaii--everywhere is beautiful.

But Grand Canyon really did blow me away. The size alone is just amazing. Depends on the side of the canyon though--you really have to go to the right spot.

Wow! I'm blown away by two votes for Sabino Canyon! It is really nice.

It's funny, I looked for a picture online, and the pictures are really underwhelming--nothing like the ones posted here. But you absolutely have to be there to experience it.

I think part of it is the hike in -- you have to work for it. Part of it is the contrast to the surrounding arid desert. But mostly, I think it's a very accessible human scale. Not like the massive mountain vistas here. Something you can see from across the canyon, and then climb a little more and dive right into.

Now those are some serious mountains!

So hard to pick just one. There are some amazing places in Dominica. I loved so many spectacular views in and around Sydney and, until I moved away, I always took for granted the amazing sceenery in Ireland, where I grew up.

Northern California/southern Oregon coastline. Highway 101, weaves throughout the most gorgeous rocky coastlines and forests- including Redwoods. Big Sur!!!

Arches in Moab. Climbed into one of the rock formations and are lunch. View could not have been more spectacular. My pb&j sandwich, water, and chips were elevated to 5 star dining.
